1. Mr. Altman has a background in sports medicine and worked as an athletic trainer with the 2004 U.S. Olympic team.
2. Mr. Altman has extensive experience in the healthcare arena. He served as the president and CEO of Newton, Iowa-based Skiff Medical Center. He worked for Skiff Medical for 22 years.
3. Cass County interviewed six candidates to fill the vacancy.
