Here's what you should know.
1. The center is a partnership between the Minnesota Vikings and Twin Cities Orthopedics.
2. The Vikings and TCO broke ground on the facility on Aug. 2, 2016. So far, several hundreds of thousands of cubic acres of soil were brought on site, retaining walls, footings and the foundation are all complete.
3. The new performance center will include administrative offices, an outdoor stadium, five outdoor practice fields, an outdoor training area, an indoor practice facility, a team auditorium, a media center, an expanded locker room, and several specialized fitness zones.
4. Twin Cities Orthopedics will have a full-service orthopedic center on campus.
