Dr. Neal ElAttrache to perform elbow ligament replacement surgery on LA Angels' Andrew Heaney: 6 notes

Orthopedic surgeon Neal ElAttrache, MD, will perform elbow ligament replacement surgery on Los Angeles Angels' left-hander Andrew Heaney, according to Greenfield Daily Reporter.

Here are six notes:

 

1. Mr. Heaney will undergo surgery on July 8.

 

2. Dr. ElAttrache practices at Kerlan-Jobe Orthopaedic Clinic in Los Angeles.

 

3. Specializing in knee, shoulder and elbow injuries, Dr. ElAttrache is the Kerlan-Jobe Orthopaedic Foundation's board chairman.

 

4. He also is the Kerlan-Jobe Fellowship's program director.

 

5. Dr. ElAttrache serves as the L.A. Dodgers and L.A Rams' head team physician. He is an orthopedic consultant for the L.A. Kings, L.A. Lakers and Anaheim Ducks.

 

6. Dr. ElAttrache completed his sports medicine fellowship at Kerlan-Jobe Orthopaedic Clinic.
