David B. Galluch, MD, is the recipient of the Ohio Athletic Trainer's Association 2016 Team Physician Award, according to the Springfield News-Sun.
Here are three highlights:
1. Dr. Galluch currently serves as team physician for Shawnee High School in Lima, Ohio, and previously served as team physician for Urbana (Ohio) University and Northwestern High School in West Salem, Ohio.
2. Dr. Galluch practices at the Springfield (Ohio) Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine Institute.
3. Dr. Galluch earned his medical degree from the Medical University of Ohio in Toledo and completed his residency at the Medical Education and Research Center of Michigan State University in Lansing. He also completed a sports medicine and arthroscopy fellowship at the Ohio State University in Columbus.
