Steve Shin, MD, performed hand surgery on Los Angeles Clippers' Chris Paul, according to an LA Times report.

1. Mr. Paul broke the third metacarpal in his right hand.
2. Dr. Shin is the director of hand surgery at Kerlan-Jobe Orthopaedic Clinic in Los Angeles.
3. He is a hand consultant to the Los Angeles Lakers, Los Angeles Dodgers, Los Angeles Angels, Los Angeles Kings and Anaheim Ducks.
4. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and a member of the American Society for Surgery of the Hand.
5. Dr. Shin completed a combined hand and upper limb fellowship at Stanford (Calif.) University School of Medicine.
