Robert Anderson, MD, performed ankle surgery on Arizona Cardinals cornerback Patrick Peterson, according to an ESPN report.

1. Mr. Peterson underwent the procedure to repair his right ankle.
2. Dr. Anderson is a founding member of the Foot & Ankle Institute at Charlotte, N.C.-based OrthoCarolina and a past president of the American Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society.
3. He serves as a team physician for the Carolina Panthers.
4. He completed a foot and ankle fellowship at the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee.
