Neal S. ElAttrache, MD, will perform shoulder surgery on Portland Trail Blazers forward Meyers Leonard, according to Oregon Live.
Here are three quick notes:
1. Dr. ElAttrache will operate on Mr. Leonard's left shoulder.
2. The procedure is scheduled to take place on April 8.
3. Dr. ElAttrache practices at Kerlan-Jobe Orthopaedic Clinic in Los Angeles. He earned his medical degree and completed his residency at the University of Pittsburgh, and currently serves as team physician for the Los Angeles Dodgers. He also acts as an orthopedic consultant to the Anaheim Ducks, St. Louis Rams, Los Angeles Lakers, Los Angeles Kings and the PGA Tour.
