4 things to know about $500M proposal for a sports medical complex

Indianapolis Airport Authority's will vote on a proposal to build a $500 million sports medical complex on the unused land at Indianapolis International Airport, according to The Washington Times.

Here are four things to know:

 

1. The complex would specialize in head trauma and concussion treatment.

 

2. The board is scheduled to vote on the plan on Friday, Feb. 19.

 

3. Athlete's Business Network, the developer, reports the complex would employ 3,000 people. The developer plans to build the sports medicine complex, hotels and a stadium.

 

4. The Airport Authority selected the proposal among various proposals.
