Joshua B. Frank, MD, received the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery Subspecialty Certification in orthopedic sports medicine, according to Connecticut Plus.
Here are four highlights:
1. This award demonstrates commitment to the highest quality care and recognition for the many long years of work put into achieving expertise.
2. The subspecialty certificate is for board certified orthopedic surgeons who have demonstrated qualifications in sports medicine beyond those expected of other orthopedic surgeons by virtue of additional training, a practice characterized by a majority of cases in sports medicine and contributions to this field.
3. In private practice, Dr. Frank treats many high school and college football teams and is particularly focused on the care and training of young athletes.
4. Dr. Frank earned his medical degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine in Philadelphia, completed his residency at the NYU Hospital for Joint Diseases and his fellowship at the Kerlan Jobe Orthopaedic Clinic in Los Angeles.
