Dr. Neal ElAttrache: Manny Pacquiao's shoulder has healed — 5 points

Neal ElAttrache, MD, examined Boxer Manny Pacquiao's shoulder and determined he is ready to fight once again, according to a Sports Inquirer report.

Here are five points:

 

1. Dr. ElAttrache performed rotator cuff repair on the boxer in May last year, soon after he lost a high-profile fight against Floyd Mayweather Jr.

 

2. According to Mr. Pacquiao's advisor Michael Koncz "[Dr.] ElAttrache was very surprised and pleased with the results."

 

3. Mr. Pacquiao's shoulder is completely healed, according to the report.

 

4. Dr. ElAttrache is the chairman of the board for the Kerlan-Jobe Orthopaedic Foundation and program director for the Kerlan-Jobe Fellowship.

 

5. He is one of the most prominent sports medicine surgeons in the country and is the team physician for the LA Dodgers.
