McLeod Sports Medicine now offering free injury clinics for fall athletes — 3 things to know

McLeod (S.C.) Sports Medicine is offering free morning injury clinics on Saturday mornings during the fall sports season, according to myhorrynews.com.

Here are three things to know:

 

1. The clinic will provide complimentary medical assessments, X-rays and treatment for sports-related injuries. Medical professionals will refer patients to an orthopedic surgeon or other specialists if an injury requires additional treatment.

 

2. Patrick Denton, MD, Chadley Runyan, MD, Dean Huiet, PA, and McLeod Sports Medicine's athletic trainers will see patients at the clinic.

 

3. The first injury clinic was held Aug. 22. The clinic will be open every Saturday in the fall season from 8:30 a.m. until 10 a.m.
