Detroit Tigers' Shane Greene seeks treatment for finger numbness — 4 quick facts

Shane Greene, pitcher for the Detroit Tigers, was recently diagnosed with mild ulnar neuritis after seeking treatment for numbness in his fingers, according to Morning Sun.

Here are four facts:

 

1. Mr. Greene met with a physician for the condition on Tuesday, Aug. 18.

 

2. Greene exhibited symptoms on May 15, but was just recently diagnosed with mild ulnar neuritis.

 

3. Mr. Greene had surgery in college to have his ulnar nerve moved.

 

4. Mr. Greene was placed on the Mud Hen's seven-day disabled list and will miss one start at least.
