UFC partners with Fusionetrics to maximize health and injury prevention: 5 key notes

Performance healthcare company Fusionetics will partner with Ultimate Fighting Championship, allowing UFC to utilize their platform to evaluate their training methods for optimal performance and to reduce injuries, according to a statement.

Here are five key notes:

 

1. Fusionetics was developed under Michael A. Clark, DPT, founder and CEO of Fusionetics, and former CEO of the National Academy of Sports Medicine.

 

2. Dr. Clark said he is proud of the partnership, and believes it is crucial to help UFC protect their athletes' health while maximizing performance.

 

3. Earlier this month, Fusionetics participated in the UFC Athlete Summit, testing UFC athletes and giving them individualized plans to use on their tablets and phones.

 

4. Fusionetics is used by a number of sports teams, including the San Antonio Spurs and Atlanta Falcons.

 

5. UFC Senior Executive Vice President and COO Lawrence Epstein said UFC's goal is to help their athletes maximize their careers.
