1. Dr. Raasch removed a torn meniscus from Milwaukee Brewers outfielder Khris David.
2. The surgery was arthroscopic and was performed Tuesday.
3. Dr. Raasch is the team physician for the Milwaukee Brewers.
4. Dr. Raasch had to repair David's right knee after he made an awkward swing in the first inning of the game.
5. In addition to the Milwaukee Brewers, Dr. Raasch is the head team physician for the Milwaukee Mustangs, Wisconsin Lutheran College and Wisconsin Lutheran High School.
6. Dr. Raasch was acknowledged by Baseball Prospectus as one of the Top 10 surgeons nationally.
7. Dr. Raasch is the recipient of the Mid-American Orthopaedic Association's 1996-1997 Traveling Fellowship.
