Dr. Marc Philippon performs hip surgery on soccer player

World-renowned specialist Marc Philippon, MD, performed hip surgery on Newcastle United soccer player Curtis Good in Colorado, reports The Shields Gazette.

Another soccer player, Shola Ameobi said the same hip operation performed by Dr. Philippon saved his career.

Dr. Philippon is currently a managing partner of the Steadman Clinic in Vail, Colo., co-chair and board member at the Steadman Philippon Research Institute. He received his medical degree from McMaster University Medical School in Canada and completed his orthopedic residency at Jackson Memorial Hospital at the University of Miami. Dr. Philippon is regarded as one of the top orthopedic surgeons in the world and has treated almost 1,000 professional and Olympic athletes.
