William Meyers, MD, will perform surgery to repair a core muscle injury sustained by Sacramento Kings point guard Darren Collison, according to an ESPN NBA report.
Dr. Meyers is founder of the Vincera Institute in Philadelphia. He focuses on sports-related injuries, as well as the treatment, rehabilitation and prevention of core muscle injuries. Mr. Collison strained his right hip flexor, according to the report.
