Texas Rangers team physician Keith Meister, MD, will perform surgery on the team's second baseman Jurickson Profar's right shoulder, according to a St. Louis Post-Dispatch report.
The surgery will address an injury that dates back to 2010.
Dr. Meister is the director of TMI Sports Medicine in Arlington, Texas.
