Hospital for Special Surgery's Answorth Allen, MD, will perform knee surgery on New York Knicks All-Star Carmelo Anthony, according to an NY Post report.
Mr. Anthony injured his knee during the early part of the season, but continued playing and will now require knee patella tendon debridement and repair. Dr. Allen will perform surgery and Mr. Anthony is expected to spend eight weeks rehabbing his knee.
He hopes to return to play for summer training.
