Foot surgery for Dodgers pitcher Kenley Jansen — Drs. Neal ElAttrache, Earl Brien & David Thordarson

Three surgeons performed foot surgery on Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher Kenley Jansen to remove a growth from his foot, according to a Bleacher Report article.

Neal ElAttrache, MD, directed the procedure, performed by Earl Brien, MD, and David Thordarson, MD. Mr. Jansen underwent the procedure at Cedars Sinai in Los Angeles.

 

Following the procedure, Mr. Jansen is expected to be on crutches for 10 days and then a boot for three to four weeks. He is expected to return to competition after eight to 12 weeks in rehabilitation.
