Dr. Pat McKenzie has kept Packers healthy since 1991

As the Green Bay Packers advance to the National Football Conference championship this Sunday to face the Seattle Seahawks, they'll be taking mainstay Pat McKenzie, MD, with them.

Dr. McKenzie has been with the team since 1991, he told the St. Cloud (Minn.) Times.

With more than 20 years of employing him, the Packers obviously enjoy working with Dr. McKenzie — and the feeling is definitely mutual.

"The Packers are an incredibly great organization," the St. John's University graduate said. "It's a well-principled group and everybody in the organization is expected to do the best they can from the top down."

Over the course of his storied career, Dr. McKenzie has been involved with two Super Bowl-winning teams and worked with two Hall of Fame quarterbacks in Brett Favre and Aaron Rodgers.

"They both have really been the same when it comes to my experience with them," McKenzie told the newspaper. "They each are well-informed and intelligent guys who wanted to know what their injuries were and what the risks were. What the chances were of making the injury worse."

Dr. McKenzie was named the NFL's top physician in 2011.
