Kristin Warner, MD, a former orthopedic physician with the U.S. Air Force, has joined the staff at Carolina Orthopedic and Sports Medicine in Gastonia, N.C., according to a Sun Journal report.
Dr. Warner has a professional interest in hand surgery. In her new position, she will focus on treating degenerative and inflammatory conditions of the hand and elbow.
While in the U.S. Air Force, Dr. Warner treated combat injuries for American troops and injuries of Afghan residents. She was awarded the Bronze Star Medal for her efforts during her deployment.
