The American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons hired Melissa H. Leeb as director of public relations.
Ms. Leeb has a background in public and media relations with previous experience in broadcast journalism and healthcare communications and public relations. She served as director of public relations for the Illinois Division of the American Cancer Society and has been recognized with the PRSA Chicago Skyline Award for leading strategic communications efforts for a statewide campaign.
