Duluth, Ga.-based Peachtree Orthopaedic Clinic announced that Scott Kimmerly, MD, served as the team medical provider and primary orthopedic physician for the U.S. Ski Team in Austria at the FIS World Cup.
Dr. Kimmerly has completed a fellowship in sports medicine and arthroscopic surgery at the Steadman-Hawkins clinic in Vail, Colo. he previously served as chief of sports medicine at Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta. He joined Peachtree in 2009.
