James Andrews, MD, founder of Andrews Orthopaedic & Sports Medicine Institute in Gulf Breeze, Fla., treated Indiana Pacers player Danny Granger with a left knee injection, according to a UMass Football report. Mr. Granger has been diagnosed with patellar tendinosis and previously underwent blood-platelet treatment for the issue. Dr. Andrews administered the most recent injection last week and Mr. Granger is expected to spend the next three months recovering, according to the report.
