Southern Orthopaedic Association announced that Alfred Y. Gordon, Jr., MD, head team primary care physician for Razorback Athletics at the University of Arkansas, will be named the Southeastern Conference Team Physician of the Year, according to a THV news report.
Dr. Gordon will be recognized at the SOA meeting next week. He earned his medical degree from the University of Arkansas and completed his residency in family practice with an emphasis in sports medicine at the university's Area Health Education Center Northwest in Fayetteville.
