A team of concussion specialists led by Paul S. Echlin, a physician in Ontario, Canada, recently launched the Sport Concussion Library, which includes information about concussion management and prevention, according to a New York Times report. The library is accessible to medical and non-medical professionals and includes more than 2,300 peer-reviewed journal articles on concussions. Additional content on the website includes concussion legislation on the federal, state and provincial levels; a downloadable SCAT2 test; filmed documentaries; and the standard sideline concussion assessment tool, according to the report.

The library is free and contains information specific to individual sports, including hockey, football, soccer and baseball. Affiliated researchers from the Untied States include Michael J. Stuart, MD, director of the Sports Medicine Center at Mayo Clinic and chief medical officer for USA Hockey, and Robert Cantu, MD, director at Boston University's Center for the Study of Traumatic Encephalopathy.
