Here are seven orthopedic surgeons who have treated or will soon treat professional athletes.

Christopher Ahmad, MD, performed elbow surgery on New York Yankees outfielder Carlos Beltran.

 

St. Louis Rams quarterback Sam Bradford underwent his second anterior cruciate ligament surgery in September, performed by James Andrews, MD.


 
Peter Asnis, MD, a sports medicine orthopedic surgeon, will perform knee surgery on Red Sox righthander Clay Buchholz.

 

Timothy Kremcheck, MD, is scheduled to perform elbow surgery on Cincinnati Reds pitcher Homer Bailey.


 
Michael Lee, MD, was tapped to perform knee surgery on Arizona Diamondbacks pitcher Brad Ziegler.


 
Matt Liebman, MD, performed wrist surgery on Boston Red Sox second baseman Dustin Pedroia at Newton-Wellesley Surgery Center in Wellesley, Mass.

 

Richard Parker, MD, performed knee surgery on Cleveland Indians' outfielder Ryan Raburn.
