James Andrews, MD, performed ACL surgery on Buffalo Bills linebacker Kiko Alonso, according to a NBC Sports report.
Dr. Andrews practices at Gulf Breeze, Fla.-based Andrews Institute for Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine. He is an accomplished sports medicine surgeon and recently received the 2014 Robert E. Leach Mr. Sports Medicine Award at the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine's Annual Meeting in Seattle. He repaired a torn ACL in Mr. Alonso's right knee, according to the report.
