The American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons Board of Directors announced the organization will now assume full responsibility for fundraising activities for the AAOS Education Enhancement Fund, according to an AAOS Now report.
The organization previously worked with the Orthopaedic Research and Education Foundation to raise the funds, but the OREF will now focus more effort on research instead of education. AAOS Education Enhancement Fund fundraising activities will be managed by Administrator Barbara Hoffman.
