Augustus D. Mazzocca, MD, board-certified orthopedic surgeon and sports medicine physician, has been named the director and chairman of orthopedic surgery at the New England Musculoskeletal Institute in Farmington, Conn., according to a UConn Today report.
Dr. Mazzocca focuses on shoulder and elbow surgery. He completed his sports medicine fellowship at Rush Medical College in Chicago.
