On Thursday, Bryan Kelly, MD, board-certified orthopedic surgeon, is scheduled to perform hip surgery on the Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Percy Harvin, according to an NFL.com report.
Dr. Kelly will perform the procedure to address a torn labrum in the player's hip.
Dr. Kelly is the co-director of the Center for Hip Preservation at the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York.
