The Arthritis Foundation has honored Alexis Chiang Colvin, MD, assistant professor of sports medicine at Leni and Peter W. May Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York City. Dr. Colvin was honored at the Women on the Move Luncheon, which recognizes women who balance family life, careers and community involvement. Dr. Colvin has a special interest in surgical treatment of knee, shoulder and hip disorders. She has provided care to professional athletes and serves as a United States Tennis Association physician during the U.S. Open.
