Gary, Ind.-based Methodist Hospitals welcomed Ashid Patel, MD, to the Methodist Physician Group.
Here are three quick highlights:
1. Dr. Patel specializes in pediatric and adult spinal deformity, scoliosis and revision spine surgery.
2. He also has expertise in cervical radiculopathy and myelopathy, lumbar degenerative pathology, spinal tumors, infections and fractures as well as herniated discs.
3. He completed his fellowship in spine and scoliosis surgery, serving as chief fellow at New York City-based Hospital for Special Surgery.
