Board-certified spine surgeon Randall F. Dryer, MD, of Austin-based Central Texas Spine Institute, created a "wall on honor" in the institute's northwest office location, to recognize first responders.
Here are four highlights:
1. The "wall of honor" features framed uniform patches that first responders gave Dr. Dryer after he performed their surgeries.
2. Dr. Dryer has received hundreds of these uniform patches from public servants living as far as Europe.
3. Central Texas Spine Institute is also sponsoring First Responder Appreciation Week from Sept. 11 to Sept. 18.
4. Dr. Dryer completed his spine and hand surgery fellowship at New Addenbrooks Hospital in Cambridge, England.
