Dr. Joseph Cochran joins Memorial Hermann Mischer Neuroscience Associates team — 6 highlights

Neurosurgeon Joseph Cochran, MD, joined Memorial Hermann Mischer Neuroscience Associates and McGovern Medical School at UTHealth, both in Houston, according to Fort Bend Herald.

Here are six highlights:

 

1. Dr. Cochran will serve patients at Mischer Neuroscience Associates-Southwest and Mischer Neuroscience Associates-Sugar Land.

 

2. He will also be a neurosurgery assistant professor at McGovern Medical School.

 

3. Dr. Cochran performs minimally invasive spine surgery, complex spine surgery, endovascular surgery, cerebrovascular surgery and skull base surgery as well as treats brain tumors.

 

4. He researches cerebral vasospasm, traumatic vascular injuries and cervical artificial disc replacement.

 

5. Journal of Neurosurgery, International Journal of Radiation Oncology*Biology*Physics and the Annals of Advances in Automotive Medicine have published his work.

 

6. Dr. Cochran completed his cerebrovascular, skull base and endovascular surgery fellowship at McGovern Medical School.
