Here are six spine surgeons and neurosurgeons in the news this past week.

Neal F. Kassell, MD, was selected to serve on the National Cancer Institute's Blue Ribbon Panel for Vice President Joe Biden's National Cancer Moonshot Initiative.

 

Marina del Rey, Calif.-based DISC Sports & Spine Center's orthopedic surgeon Andrew Bulczynski, MD, provided recommendations on how to minimize your risk of injury when resuming exercise.

 

Minneapolis-based University of Minnesota Medical Center granted Sunny Kim, MD, privileges to perform complex spine surgery.
