Liaquat University of Medical & Health Sciences in Pakistan hosted a two-day "Indus Neurosciences Conference," according to Business Recorder.

Here are four notes:

 

1. At the conference, LUMHS Professor Noshad A Shaikh spoke about why it is imperative for health professionals to work together to help people in the wake of terrorism.  Professor Noshad A Shaikh is the Vice Chancellor of LUMHS.

 

2. In his presentation, the Vice Chancellor condemned the Lahore bomb blast that killed or injured more than 70 people.

 

3. Chairman Department of Neurosurgery LUMHS Professor Riaz Ahmad Raja thanked the attendees and explained the purpose of the forum is to give professional development education activities for both undergraduates and postgraduates.

 

4. To raise awareness for the conference, LUMHS conducted public awareness programs in Hyderabad on March 30 and displayed powers and banners on the prevention of head and spine injuries.
