The National Institute of Health's PubMed Library of Studies indexed Alexandria, Minn.-based Tristate Brain and Spine Institute's recent study on oblique lateral lumbar interbody fusion.

3. Oblique posterior lateral lumbar fusion is a surgical procedure designed for a minimally invasive spinal fusion.

 

4. For the study, researchers examined 69 OLLIF patients and 55 open TLIF controls.

 

5. The study found cost reductions and faster recovery times associated with the OLLIF procedure.
