Dr. Patrick Hogan wins Arizona Osteopathic Medical Association President's Award — 5 key notes

Patrick Hogan, DO, received the Arizona Osteopathic Medical Association President's Award for his excellent service and contributions to the osteopathic medical profession in Arizona.

1. Pain physician and anesthesiologist, Dr. Hogan, received the award in May.

 

2. His work benefits the AOMA Board of Trustees, House of Delegates and Committees.  

 

3. After earning his medical degree from Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine in Glendale, he completed an anesthesiology residency and pain medicine fellowship at the Cleveland Foundation.

 

4. As President and CEO of the Arizona Society of Interventional Pain Physicians, he works to preserve patients' access to high quality care using an evidence-based approach.

 

5. Dr. Hogan uses a comprehensive approach to pain management care. He said, "One of my passions is to try to reduce inappropriate opioid prescribing and drug diversion. The lectures that I was able to participate in through AOMA allowed me to reach a wide audience of Arizona physicians and advanced practice providers."
