Cerebrotech Medical Systems added Nathan Selden, MD, PhD, to its scientific advisory board.

 

Carl Lauryssen, MD, performed the first cervical disc replacement in Austin, Texas, with the Prestige LP Cervical Disc System from Medtronic.

 

Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit named Sandeep Mittal, MD, chairman of the department of neurosurgery.

 

Dr. César Rocha performed the first total knee replacement in Colombia using Smith & Nephew's VISIONAIRE Cutting Guides Fundación at the Cardio Infantil de Bogotá.
