Here are 14 spine surgeons who recently received awards or promotions.

Mark Souweidane, MD, was named chair of the editorial board for The Journal of Neurosurgery: Pediatrics.

 

Benjamin Warf, MD, was named among five Distinguished Alumni and Distinguished Young Alumni from Georgetown College.

 

Kapil Moza, MD, of Thousand Oaks, Calif., has been named to the Southern California Super Doctors list for 2016.

 

Board-certified neurosurgeon Elad I. Levy, MD, was honored alongside other alumni at George Washington University's 79th annual Alumni Achievement Awards.

 

The Expert Network of Distinguished Doctors invited neurosurgeon Kamal Woods, MD, to its membership for his suburb peer reviews, various recognitions and accomplishments.

 

S. Rajasekaran, MS, director of Ganga Hospital in Tamil Nadu, India, received the Walter P. Blount Humanitarian International Award.
