The Scoliosis Research Society gives this award to those who provide excellent spinal surgery services. Dr. Rajasekaran received the award for his commitment to providing modern spine surgery services to underserved populations.
The first Indian surgeon to receive the award, Dr. Rajasekaran created a cost-effective spine surgery model, which helped more than 7,000 disadvantaged patients.
