Michael Sprintz, DO, joined North American Spine as a partner physician.

Here are five notes about Dr. Sprintz:

 

1. Dr. Sprintz will join Nobilis Health as a DND specialist for the North American Spine brand. He will provide consultations at his primary office in The Woodlands, Texas, and offer treatments at the Southwest Freeway Surgery Center.

 

2. A triple-boarded physician based in Houston, Dr. Sprintz trained under Basem Abdelfattah, MD, in Dallas, mastering cervical, thoracic and lumbar discectomy and neural decompression procedures.

 

3. After many years of treating chronic pain patients, Dr. Sprintz opened The Sprintz Center of Pain and Dependency.

 

4. Dr. Sprintz is accredited by the American Board of Anesthesiology, Pain Management and Addition Medicine.

 

5. After receiving his doctorate of osteopathic medicine at Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine of Midwestern University in Downers Grove, Ill., he completed a residency in anesthesiology at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore. Dr. Sprintz then completed a pain management fellowship at MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston.
