The Intermountain Medical Group welcomed neurosurgeon Jotham Manwaring, MD, allergist Mark Stevens, MD, and family medicine physician Tyler Hansen, DO, according to St George News.
Here are six key notes:
1. A Phoenix native, Dr. Manwaring attended University of Utah School of Medicine, and completed his residency at the University of South Florida. He joined the Southern Utah Neurosciences Institute on July 13.
2. Dr. Manwaring has published works about neurosurgery, and especially enjoys exploring the topics of complex brain surgery, minimally invasive spine surgery and pediatric spine deformity, according to St George News.
3. The Intermountain Redrock Allergy Clinic welcomed Dr. Stevens on July 15. Dr. Stevens attended the Ohio State University School of Medicine and did his residency in internal medicine at the University of Iowa.
4. Dr. Stevens, a Houston native, has lectured and written pieces on allergy and immunology subjects, and focuses on asthma, food and drug allergy, immunodeficiencies and eosinophilic disorders.
5. The Intermountain Hurricane Valley Clinic welcomed Dr. Hansen to the team on July 16. Dr. Hansen, from Ivins, Utah, received his medical degree from Des Moines University and did his family medicine residency at Utah Valley Family Medicine Residency.
6. Dr. Hansen's specialties lie in preventative care, geriatrics, diabetes, hypertension, obstetrics, pediatrics, fracture care, sports medicine, dermatology and mental health, according to St George News.
