Dr. James Rice joins Clark Regional Medical Center — 4 key notes

Orthopedic spine surgeon James Rice, MD, joined Clark Regional Medical Center, according to the Central KY News.

Here are five things to know about Dr. Rice:

 

1. He will provide care at Kentucky Orthopedic Associates.

 

2. Dr. Rice has a special interest in minimally invasive spine surgery, spinal deformity, fracture care and general orthopedics.

 

3. Dr. Rice earned his medical degree at the University of Louisville School of Medicine and completed his residency at the University of Florida College of Medicine in Gainesville. His additional training includes an orthopedic fellowship at West Virginia University—Ruby Memorial in Morgantown, W.Va.

 

4. He comes to Kentucky from King's Daughters Health System, where he served with Marshall Orthopaedics. He participated in a partnership with the Joan C. Edwards School of Medicine there.
