Daniel J. Guillaume, MD, has traveled to Kalinga Hospital in Odisha, India, to share expertise and new techniques, according to an Odisha Sun Times report.
Here are four things to know:
1. Dr. Guillaume is an associate professor and chief of pediatric neurosurgery at the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis.
2. His work has been published in numerous journals and books. He has directed courses on minimally invasive and endoscopic surgical approaches.
3. He focuses on pediatric brain and spinal tumors, complex hydrocephalus and chiari malformation. He also has expertise in minimally invasive surgical approaches.
4. During his six-day visit to the hospital in India, he will share his experiences, as well as the latest technologies being used in the field.
