NASS adds SpineConnect features to post images, share knowledge

Spine

North American Spine Society launched new features for the SpineConnect community.

The updates allow NASS members and meeting attendees to post cases and images, share knowledge and ask questions of thousands of spine experts internationally.

SpineConnect launched in 2014 and now more than 3,000 unique individuals are participating in the community. There are 200 unique visitors each day to the forum, which can be viewed in 90 languages on almost any device.

The most popular feature has been case discussion where there are real cases discussed and opinions on diagnosis and treatment.

"With SpineConnect, our members can pick up their smartphone or tablet and consult with thousands of their global peers 24 hours a day on something as complex as a lumbar fracture displacement case," said NASS president Heidi Prather, DO.
