Ben Carson, MD, a retired Johns Hopkins neurosurgeon and potential presidential candidate, joined the board of directors for HomeCentris Healthcare, according to a 12 spine, neurosurgeon JDs to knowin the Baltimore Sun.
The company provides support to older adults for services at their homes instead of at a hospital or nursing homes. Services include providing nurses and other caregivers for in-home help as well as support for senior living complexes.
Dr. Carson also serves as chairman of the board for Vaccinogen, a company developing a cancer vaccine, and on the board of directors for Kellogg and Cosco.
