Columbia, SC.-based Moore Center for Orthopedics will unveil its new Moore Convenient Care Center on Monday, which will offer urgent orthopedic care with no appointment necessary five days a week.
"It streamlines care," Moore Center CEO Bradley Presnal, MD, told The State.
Dr. Presnel said the biggest change people in the Columbia region will experience is that an injured person can go right to being seen by an orthopedic specialist, instead of the more common rigors of an emergency room stop, X-ray and setting up an appointment.
By going straight to an orthopedic care center, injured people no longer have to worry about the time and expense of an emergency room visit, he explained.
