Sparks Neurosurgical Associates in Fort Smith, Ark., has added neurosurgeon Timothy Maryanov, MD.
Dr. Maryanov focuses on degenerative spinal disease, spinal cord injury, spinal and cranial trauma and tumors of the brain, spine and pituitary gland.
He comes to Sparks Neurosurgical Associates from a hospital in Jonesboro, Ark.
"I took a biologic neuroscience class and that's when I became intrigued with the interactions of biochemical and brain function as it affects your behavior. That's when I realized I needed to be a doctor," said Dr. Maryanov.
